The Great Buddha Unveiled in SATOYAMA @TOKYO

 

The 12 meters tall Great Buddha has been unveiled at Houkouji Temple in Hinode Town, Tokyo. 

 

This statue, called Rokuya Daibutsu (大仏：statue of Buddha), is taller than the Great Buddha of Kamakura（鎌倉） and the second tallest Daibutsu in Japan, following the Great Buddha of Nara（奈良).
