SATOYAMA TOKYO Shooting tour #2-1 Akiruno~Hinohara

We had the second shooting tour on 11/19 which was the perfect day for not only photo shooting but the bike ride as this tour was mainly a fun physical activity.

Our tour started from JR Musai-Itsukaichi Station at 9 am.
The weather was perfect for a bike ride and Autum foliage viewing.

We first got our bikes at a rental bike shop right across the street from Musashi-Itsukaichi station.

Today's cooporative models are Tyler and Ali.

We got our bikes smoothly (took us just 10mins) and headed to the first visiting point - Temple Kohtoku (Kohtoku-ji).
Up and downhills till the temple..

This temple is located in a very quiet area and was founded in 1373!! It is a very old temple like 640 years old, but has been maintained well.
This temple has a very gigantic ginkgo tree coloring yellow like a carpet by its foliage on the garden now. It is a great time to visit there, everyone!

We saw some people taking photos as well.
They amazed the beautiful ginkgo tree and were interested in the leave shape.

↑Ginkgo leaves (Top) and Tokyo metropolitan symbol (below)
This tree is actually the metropolitan tree and the symbol is based on this leave shape.

To be continued...
