SATOYAMA TOKYO Shooting tour #2-4 Akiruno

The next destination was "Seotono-yu onsen" (瀬音の湯) located just 5 mins away by a bike from Ryuju-In.

On the way, we had a Japanese steamed bun called "Oyaki". This oyaki place is very small and hard to find for visitors, but somehow I saw many
people stopping by. (= Meaning highly recommended :D)

<- Oyaki with pasted red beans inside.
Very yummy!

At Seotono-yu, they had a foot bath. This hot spring comes up from 1500 meters underground and it is good for your skin as it contains highly alkaline. This type of hot spring is popular among young women.

After the bath,  We took a short break for the next activity.

After Seotono-yu, we headed a cafe called "Ichibankan" for Dorayaki (Japanese pancakes sandwiched with sweet red bean paste & Maccha (Finely grounded green tea powder).

Actually this cafe used to be a kimono fabric store founded in 1902. The local people decided to renovate the store to remain the old house as one of the historical architectures in the area when the store was about to be closed.

They reopened the house for public in 2013.
Once you go inside, you can feel as if you were like in 1960's by its interior.

This dorayaki pancake is made with charcoal powder, so the color is totally black..

After the cafe we dropped off our bikes at the rental shop..
The time was around 5pm. and the sky was getting dark already...

To be continued....
